December Light

If the sun shines in December, I am out exploring. The sun is very low in the horizon - just barely peeking above the tree tops - and it bathes the world in clear, frontal light.  On my walks down the alleys of my neighborhood I see color, shadows, textures, fences, sheds, doors, walls, garages, shrubs, tree branches and everything else.  There is much to see by simply walking around and looking.      James Byrne
