December Light

The December sun in St. Paul is very low in the horizon - just barely peeking above the tree tops.  It bathes the world in cold, clear, frontal light.  On my walks down the alleys of my neighborhood I discovered beautiful colors and textures in fences, sheds, doors, walls, garages, shrubs, tree branches and everything else.       James Byrne
