The movement and drama of people's shadows crossing the street in late afternoon light caught my imagination and inspired these collages.  Elongated shadows cast on textured concrete created theatrical tableaus of moments frozen in time.          
 
Printed on a polyester weave vinyl substrate these works assert a physical autonomy like free hanging textiles.  They move and bend. They are not only images but objects occupying space.
